Following initiatives have been taken by the Regional Centre, Khanna:

• Translation of BPP Material in Punjabi.
• A proposal regarding Certificate in Carpentry has been sent to the Regional Services Division, IGNOU HQs for approval.
• Establishment of Special Study Centre at Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Chandigarh.
• Establishment of Special Study Centre, in the Educationally & Economically Backward Block of Punjab.
• Documentation and record maintenance at RC level
